Who doesn’t love love? I know I do. Which is why I was SOOOO happy when my friend Delano told the world he proposed to his sweetheart Stephanie, and she said yes! Then it got even better — the newly engaged couple contacted me to create an illustration for their special day! I was over the moon.

Stephanie wanted a keepsake she could give to her bridesmaids as a gift on the wedding day, so we came up with a card that would feature an illustrated version of the entire bridal party, emblazoned with their names and the date of the ceremony. Stephanie was great to work with. She knew all the details — style of dress, colors, jewelry, even each bridesmaid’s size and height — but left it up to me to work my creative magic. In the end, we ended up with a full-size (8″ x 10″) keepsake card that not only was a gift to the bridesmaids, but was also on display during the nuptials!
